WAYS THAT WE COLLECT INFORMATION
Some areas of the sites require you to actively submit information for you to benefit from specific features (such as our range of online services). Some of this information may be personal (information that can be uniquely identified with you, such as your full name, father’s name, address, date of birth, PAN, Contact numbers, etc).
Information is also gathered without you actively providing it, using various technologies and methods such as Internet Protocol (IP) addresses and cookies. These methods do not collect or store financial information.
An IP address is a number assigned to your computer by your Internet Service Provider (ISP), so you can access the Internet. It is generally considered to be non-personally identifiable information, because in most cases an IP address is dynamic (changing each time you connect to the Internet), rather than static (unique to a particular user’s computer).

MONITORING OF E-MAIL
We may monitor e-mail communications with Elite Elevators (this includes any Elite Elevators member of staff). Any such monitoring will take place following the law.
We use log files generated by our web servers to analyse sites usage and statistics but the said files do not identify any personal information. Log file analysis helps us to understand usage patterns on our websites and to make improvements to our service.
We do not disclose any information you provide via our sites to any third parties or other government departments except where:
-Required by applicable laws, court orders, or government regulations.
-You permit us to do so.
-We must enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations thereof.
-We need to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues.
ACCESS TO AND CORRECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We will take all reasonable steps following our legal obligations to update or correct personally identifiable information in our possession that you submit via these sites.
Elite Elevators has a legal duty to protect the confidentiality of taxpayer information. We take all reasonable steps to protect any information you submit via our websites, both online and offline, following relevant legislation in India.
We take all appropriate steps to protect your personally identifiable information as you transmit your information from your computer to our sites and to protect such information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. We use technologies to safeguard your data and operate strict security standards to prevent any unauthorized access to it. Where you use passwords, ID numbers, or other special access features on these sites, you also have a responsibility to take reasonable steps to safeguard them.

Elite Elevators Premium Members are entitled to FREE Two-Day shipping on all purchases of eligible items from participating retailers. Additionally, Elite Elevators Premium Members receive Free Shipping on Returns of eligible items and exclusive offers from our participating retail partners. Note that FREE Two-Day Shipping is measured from the time the eligible item ships and not when the eligible item is ordered. Once the order is received, products will be shipped within 30 days and then delivered within 10 to 14 working days.
If a buyer asks you to cancel an order and you have not yet shipped and confirmed the shipment, you can cancel it in Manage Orders or use an Order Cancellation feed. To cancel an order from the Manage Orders menu, follow the steps mentioned under “Standard cancellation process that will not count against your metrics” below.
When you cancel an order, Elite Elevators automatically updates the order status in the buyer’s Elite Elevators account and sends an email notification to the buyer.
Note:If you have shipped and confirmed the order, tell the buyer that the order is already on its way and ask them to return it to you for a refund. If you have already generated the shipping label, inform the buyer that you are unable to cancel the order at this stage and ask them to return the item for a refund. If you cancel an order by mistake, you can contact the buyer through the Buyer-Seller Messaging service, and if the buyer wishes, encourage them to place a new order. Both cancellations and returns are a normal part of most sales operations.
When can a buyer cancel an order?
For the first 30 minutes after the order is placed, buyers can cancel their order using the Cancel Items button located in Your Account > Your Orders on Elite Elevators. After 30 minutes, the buyer can request a cancellation, but only the seller can cancel the order.
If the buyer sends a message requesting to cancel an order, use the following steps:
Important: If you do not follow the cancellation process as outlined below (responding to a cancellation request generated in the system by the buyer’s account), the cancellation may count against your metrics.
Note: If you cannot fulfil the order due to a lack of inventory and need to cancel the order, select the reason as no inventory. Do not contact the buyer and request that they submit a cancellation request.
Standard cancellation process that will not count against your metrics:
You receive the cancellation request through the Buyer-Seller messaging service that contains the specific subject line: “Order cancellation request from Elite Elevators customer…”
To cancel an order requested by a buyer, follow these steps:
From the Orders drop-down, select Manage Orders. Find the order referenced in the email notification and click Cancel order in the Action column.
Note: The Cancel order button is available only for Unshipped orders. On the Cancel order page, select the reason for cancellation as Buyer requested. Click Submit.
After you cancel the order, you and the buyer will receive separate email confirmations that the order has been cancelled. Non-standard cancellation process that might count against your metrics: You receive the cancellation request that does not include the standard subject line “Order cancellation request from Elite Elevators customer…” To avoid cancelling an order in a manner that impacts your metrics, use Buyer-Seller Messaging, and request the buyer to submit an official cancellation using the standard process. Use the following instructions in your response.
You may request returns for most items you buy on EliteElevators.com that are within the return window, except those that are explicitly mentioned as not returnable. To place a return request, please write an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will refund you the full amount or provide a free-of-cost replacement of the product within 7 days after the product has been delivered, in case you have; changed your mind to buy the item(s) you have ordered or; received the item(s) in poor, damaged or mutilated condition or; received an item(s) that is different from the item(s) that you have ordered with us.
To get a full refund, please return the item(s) to us in its original packing (unopened and undamaged condition), with all the original tags/ labels attached along with proof of purchase within 7 days from the date of receipt of the item(s). All costs associated with returning the item to us including return shipping charges and any taxes if applicable shall need to be taken care of by you. Gift cards, personalized products, sales clearance, and promotional items are not eligible for a return or exchange. The Original shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.
If you wish to cancel an order that has been shipped but has not yet been delivered, please get in touch with our sales/support team and inform them at the earliest possible. In case you have cancelled an order, which has already been handed over to the courier company from our end, they will still attempt delivery. Kindly do not accept the delivery of the order. Once we receive the product(s) back and verify its packaging/condition, we will initiate a refund procedure for your money within 3-4 working days. The refund will be processed to the same account/method from which the payment was made. It may take 2-3 additional business days for the amount to reflect in your account.
Warranty: The products sold are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty for 1 year. In case you find that the product is not working properly after you have opened the box, we will replace or exchange the product to your satisfaction, without any questions asked within Seven (7) days. The faulty product/part must return to us for replacement/repair. Transformers, Chargers, and adaptors are not included in the warranty.
The Refund Policy is applicable only for online purchases.
