The guidance from the sales consultant, Mr. Siddalingesh, about involving an elevator vendor early on was very helpful during my house construction, as was the support from the CRM team. Although there was a significant installation delay of about a month that I wasn't pleased with, but the wait was absolutely worth it. I've been using the lift for three months without any issues so far, despite the installation delay, I'm giving them a 5-star rating.

1. Is it possible to install the X200 Mark II in an established house?

The X200 Mark II is suitable for use in new and existing homes. It is a hydraulic chain drive design which does not require any machine room, as it only requires 100mm pit depth with 120mm with a shaft and 2300 headroom, so it can also be retrofitted into entire buildings. It can be installed with a supplied shaft which can be made of the standard metal (M or X) with glass panels by Elite Elevators or by the client as a masonry shafts, depending on the site requirements.

2. Is the elevator obtrusive during operation?

The X200 Mark II is designed to provide a whisper-quiet, vibration-free and smooth operation through its adjustable hydraulic chain drive system, greaseless guide rails, and the soft start-stop (SSS) control system. The components are also designed with precision engineering and advanced technology that minimize unique operation noise, achieving quality smooth and silent travel where the elevator can be near a bedroom/living area (if applicable).

3. Does the X200 Mark II have to have a separate shaft or machine room?

A separate machine room is not required because the X200 Mark II is a machine-room-less alternative which has its power unit and control located within the vertical shaft. The client can choose a glass aluminium (M or X) shaft supplied by Elite or a masonry shaft built by themselves, depending on the integration choice or vision and minimal additional civil work.

4. What safety features have been developed with the X200 Mark II?

The X200 Mark II has been developed to European, American and Indian Standards along with several safety systems including: Automatic Rescue Device (ARD), GSM for communication, overload detection, door light curtain, dynamic ENS (Error Notification System), Voltage protection and auto re-leveling and Emergency cabin light, which may have a trap door. Together these features present the X200 Mark II as one of the safest hydraulic home elevators on the market.

5. Does the X200 Mark II have emergency communication or an GSM backup?

Yes. The X200 Mark II has an built in emergency communication which is GSM-enabled within the cabin which communicates whether the power is available via a dual battery back providing communication at all times and in the event of a power loss. This system provides users reassurance that they can always have emergency communication and assistance when needed.
